The Challenge
The site had significant hydrocarbon contamination beneath the surface, requiring a strategic and controlled approach to ensure effective treatment and minimise environmental risk.
The Solution
To treat the contamination, we carried out an in situ chemical oxidation programme, injecting reagents at over 250 locations across the site. This was achieved using our in-house drilling services and chemical mixing systems, ensuring precise and efficient delivery.
Following the injection campaign, we installed monitoring wells and collected groundwater samples from within and beyond the hydrocarbon plume. Testing was completed at our UKAS-accredited laboratory, providing fast and accurate results to assess the success of the remediation.

Our comprehensive approach ensured the successful treatment of hydrocarbons, supporting the site’s redevelopment and meeting environmental standards.
