About Me I have a background in microbiology and joined Subadra in 2019. As a lab technician, I oversee the processing of soil and water samples, ensuring they go through the necessary chemical and geotechnical tests. One of my favourite tests is the Atterberg test, where I mix clay soils until they reach the consistency of chocolate icing and then roll them into tiny soil sausages until they break apart, it’s a fascinating way to understand soil properties! Outside of work, I love spending time in the kitchen, experimenting with new recipes and flavours. Reading is another passion of mine, I enjoy getting lost in a good book and exploring different genres. I also have a keen interest in needlecraft, finding it both relaxing and rewarding. Whether it’s stitching, embroidery, or another craft project, I enjoy the creativity and precision involved. Working at Subadra has given me the opportunity to apply my scientific background in a hands-on way, and I take pride in contributing to the important work we do in the lab.
