Reducing costs through innovation: We helped a client cut their metered water expenses by drilling a borehole that now provides up to 20,000 litres of free water daily

The Challenge

Operating a site with a large car and jet wash facility resulted in high metered mains water costs, posing a significant financial burden for our client.

The Solution

During site redevelopment works, we identified an opportunity to reduce costs by tapping into underground water sources. We drilled a single borehole to a depth of 85 metres and installed a pumping and water treatment system. This solution now provides the client with up to 20,000 litres of free water per day to support their business operations.

The Outcome

By implementing this tailored solution, we successfully eliminated the client’s reliance on costly metered mains water. The system ensures a reliable and sustainable water supply for years to come. The client was extremely pleased with the cost savings and improved operational efficiency.
