I founded Subadra in 1993 and, while I’ve stepped back from daily operations, I remain a Director, in-house consultant, and expert witness. After earning a degree in Engineering Sciences from Oxford, I began my career at Fugro, working on foundation designs for offshore oil and gas platforms in the North Sea. I later pursued a Master’s in Soil Mechanics at Imperial College before joining BP, where I coordinated deepwater geotechnics in Houston and oversaw fuel facility audits in Southeast Asia.
At Subadra, we rejected the traditional consultancy model, focusing instead on innovation and hands-on solutions. We began by investigating and remediating filling station sites, nearly 3,000 to date—and have led major projects like the Perry Oaks fuel farm remediation for Heathrow’s Terminal Five and offshore investigations in Siberia. More recently, I’ve focused on sustainable construction, leading the UK’s first residential Passivhaus Premium project in the Cotswolds.
In my free time, I enjoy sailing, skiing, cycling, and flying.
